I have been under the care of Dr Ramakrishnan since March 2021 and cannot recommend him highly enough. He fully explains procedures and treatment plans but most importantly he listens to any worries and concerns you may have and answers questions raised with clarity, patience and understanding. He is not only very professional and an excellent doctor who really knows his field but is extremely approachable and both my wife and I hold him in the highest regard. I am truly grateful for the care and expertise I have had and continue to receive from Dr Ramakrishnan and feel confident in the knowledge I am lucky to have found a superb doctor.

i have been under the care of dr ram for many years he is always pleasant and he listens. He is very determined to get to the root of the problem however difficult it may be and he always remembers previous consultations and what you have told him. He will run over the alloted time slot in the nhs because i believe he wants to gain as much information as possible.

Dr Ram is, by far, the best, most caring, kindest and knowledge doctor I've ever met. I have been under his care, on and off, for the best part of seven years and he is a truly fantastic doctor and a very caring person. You can tell he takes pride in the way he communicates with his patients, puts them at ease, listens to their concerns and symptoms and treats them with respect. I am sure he has hundreds and hundreds of patients, yet he always takes the time to remember little details such as the age of your children, your medical and personal history etc - he truly is a very caring doctor and I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone who needed a Gastroenterologist. He will listen to you and arrange tests where necessary, but also save you from unnecessary tests if he thinks the anxiety of going through scans and tests are not worth the cost (if private) or stress (NHS). He has been a true Godsend to myself, and my family, for many years and regardless of whether you see him privately or through the NHS, he is an exceptional doctor, diagnostician (I have Googled myself into all sorts of illnesses, none of which have been true and Dr Ram diagnosed my condition from day one!) and family man. Even if I developed non-gastric problems I would probably ask to see Dr Ram first!

From my first conversation with Dr Subramaniam Ramakrishnan I was put at ease as an anxious, nervous patient as he explained the different procedures that were available. I was put at ease through out this conversation as he explained the different options available and due to this I felt calmer and supported in agreeing to the CT colonoscopy as being the best option for me. Following the procedure in when Dr Ramakrishnan rang to tell me the results of the investigation he was receptive to my suggestion that I felt that I would have liked an option of having my arm supported when having the cannuella inserted. I would like to thank this doctor very much for the way he and the team I both spoke to by telephone or I met dealt with my whole experience.
